Jaime S. Harris

Attorney, Williams Law Group, LLC

From Public Service to Civil Litigation — A Passionate Legal Advocate Dedicated to Making a Difference

After graduating with honors from Florida State University, Jaime realized the practice of law was most likely where she could make the biggest impact in her commitment to helping others in need. While attending law school at California Western School of Law in downtown San Diego, Jaime performed numerous pro bono assignments for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (“SDVLP”). SDVLP provides legal services, such as guardianship clinics for low-income families and restraining order clinics for victims of domestic violence. Jaime also conducted legal research, drafted pleadings, and met with clients while working as a legal intern for the San Diego Public Defenders Office during law school.

Upon her return to her home state of Indiana, Jaime began the first two years of her legal career as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Indiana.  Thereafter, Jaime worked within the realm of family law for the next several years, more specifically divorce, custody, and adoption cases.  Jaime joined Williams Law Group, LLC in August of 2023, and was grateful and excited to have an opportunity to work with the four extraordinary attorneys who make up this firm.

While she has only been at the firm for a short while in comparison to the others, Jaime has gained a significant amount of knowledge and understanding related to civil litigation in cases ranging anywhere from personal injury and defamation to wrongful death and civil rights violations. Her background in all these areas enables her to better connect with clients and make them feel more at ease with the legal process moving forward. Jaime hopes to one day become an exceptional trial attorney like those for whom she currently works at Williams Law Group, LLC.

Jaime resides in Hendricks County with her husband and daughter. When not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, jogging and lifting weights, participating in outdoor activities (i.e., hiking, jogging, playing sports), and listening to music.
